Explosion at Dairy in Biga, Çanakkale: 42-Year-Old Adnan Çetin Died

Çanakkale / Biga - 42-year-old Adnan Çetin lost his life in a sad work accident yesterday evening in Gümüşçay town of Çanakkale's Biga district. Çetin, who died as a result of a dairy boiler explosion in the dairy farm where he worked, was registered to the population of Karadoru Village of Yenice district. While the incident caused great sadness in the region, it brought the work safety debate to the agenda once again.

According to the information received, a severe explosion occurred in the milk boiler for an undetermined reason during milk processing in the dairy in Gümüşçay town. Adnan Çetin was seriously injured by the explosion. Health and gendarmerie teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. After the first intervention of the paramedics, Çetin was taken to Biga State Hospital. However, despite all interventions, Adnan Çetin unfortunately could not be saved and died.
