Carbon Monoxide Horror at Burdur Sugar Factory: 7 Workers Hospitalized with Suspected Poisoning!

BURDUR - 7 workers at Burdur Sugar Factory were hospitalized with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. The incident happened after workers at the factory were reportedly poisoned and many emergency teams were dispatched to the area.

Incident and Emergency Response

The incident occurred during working hours at Burdur Sugar Factory. When some workers in the factory became unwell, the situation was immediately reported to 112 Emergency Health teams. Upon notification, 112 Emergency Medical, police and AFAD teams were quickly dispatched to the factory.

In the first evaluations, it was determined that the workers were poisoned by carbon monoxide gas. A total of 7 workers who showed symptoms of poisoning were immediately transferred to Burdur State Hospital by the health teams and were taken under treatment.

According to hospital sources, the 7 poisoned workers are in good health.
