Türk Eğitim-Sen and UAESEB are organizing a "Turkic World Education Congress" to determine common policies in the field of education in the Turkic world. The congress will focus on common curriculum and union solidarity.
ANKARA - Türk Eğitim-Sen and the International Union of Eurasian Education Unions (UAESEB) are organizing the "Turkic World Education Congress" to draw attention to the importance of education in the future of the Turkic world. The assembly will address critical issues such as common education policies, curriculum harmonization and strengthening trade union cooperation.
General President Talip Geylan will make an opening speech and important names such as MHP Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. İlyas Topsakal, Yunus Emre Institute President Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Aliy and Turkish Language Association President Prof. Dr. Osman Mert will attend the congress. In addition, the heads of education unions from the Turkic world and many academics will share their valuable views.
The congress aims to create strategic perspectives in education in line with the vision of the "Turkish Century". Participants will discuss issues such as harmonizing curricula around common language, history and culture, teacher training programs and increasing solidarity between unions.
The congress will include opening sessions, panels, workshops and youth forums. In these platforms, concrete steps such as joint curriculum studies, sharing of educational materials, teacher exchange programs and creating joint platforms for youth will be discussed.
Four different commissions will work on "Education Vision in the Turkic Century", "Common Curriculum and Education Cooperation in the Turkic World", "Developing Joint Projects on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence in Education" and "Future of Education Unions in the Turkic World and Rights-Based Struggle". These studies will provide an important basis for building the common future of the Turkic world through education.
