Sağlık-Sen President Mahmut Faruk Doğan called on the Ministry of Health ahead of the upcoming bank promotion tenders. Doğan demanded fair and non-victimizing promotion agreements in accordance with today's economic conditions.
ANKARA - Sağlık-Sen President Mahmut Faruk Doğan made important statements about bank salary promotions, one of the most important issues on the agenda of health and social service employees. Speaking at the union's 7th Term 15th Presidents' Board Meeting, Doğan stated that they are determined to prevent the victimization of promotions in the past and said "Our aim is to ensure that our employees receive promotions according to today's economic conditions without any victimization".
At the meeting, where promotional tenders were the main agenda item, President Doğan stated that they held talks with the Ministry of Health officials on the issue and that the ministry has started data collection studies on this issue. Emphasizing that promotional agreements should be made in accordance with Turkey's current inflation reality, Doğan stated that they will fight for health workers to be paid for their hard work.
The meeting heard the local problems and suggestions of branch presidents in 81 provinces. Stating that they will evaluate these suggestions as the General Center Management, Doğan said that they will then submit these problems and solution suggestions to the Ministry of Health in a report. Doğan added that they will continue their work and struggle on the promotion issue.
