Necmettin Erbakan University and Sağlık-İş Signed a New Term Collective Labor Agreement: Labor Peace Secured

ANKARA - The long-standing collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations between the Health and Social Service Workers Union of Turkey (Sağlık-İş) and Necmettin Erbakan University have successfully concluded. The new term collective bargaining agreement, which guarantees the financial and social rights of union members, officially entered into force with the signing ceremony held on August 21, 2025.

The negotiations were completed within an agreed framework as a result of negotiations carried out by the parties on the basis of common sense and constructive dialogue. It was stated that the signed contract both protects the rights of employees and increases peace and productivity in the workplace.

A delegation including Adem Sarıçoban, Secretary General, Hicret Bozoklu, Advisor to the President, Recep Kaplan, Konya Branch President and Mustafa Şahin, Deputy Branch President were present at the signing ceremony. The employer side was represented by Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers' Union (TÜHİS) experts Fatma Taşkın, Osman Adıgüzel and Eymen Özben and Necmettin Erbakan University officials Durmuş Ali Atalay, Kemal Özkara and Taner Duran.

In the statements made at the ceremony, it was emphasized that the contract is an indicator of the determination to defend the rights and interests of the members in the strongest way. Sağlık-İş General Secretary Adem Sarıçoban said, "This contract is a concrete reflection of our stance on the side of labor and laborers. We will continue to fight resolutely to protect and improve the rights of our members."

While wishing the new term collective bargaining agreement to be beneficial to the workers working at Necmettin Erbakan University, the union and university officials stated that the agreement is an exemplary cooperation and will make significant contributions to labor peace.
