In addition to Ankara and Istanbul, marches will be organized in 81 cities across Turkey under the leadership of the Support Platform for Palestine.
In his call, General President Ali Yalçın stated that the protests are not only a show of solidarity with the people of Gaza, but also a universal stance to protect human dignity.
Yalçın also emphasized the importance of supporting humanitarian aid initiatives to break the embargo on Palestine and called for not leaving the activists of the "Sumud Flotilla", which has been on the agenda recently:
"In order to be the voice of Gaza, to support the freedom flotillas, and to uphold human dignity and honor, we will once again be in the squares in 81 cities, especially in Istanbul and Ankara. We invite all my brothers and sisters, everyone with a conscience, to march/demonstrate for Gaza, for freedom, not to leave the Sumoud Flotilla activists alone."
Memur-Sen Confederation also reiterated in its message that the whole nation, everyone with a conscience, should participate in this historic march "for Gaza, for freedom, for humanity".
