Medya-İş Union President Sezai Ballı and Board Members attended the Press Advertisement Agency (BİK) 33rd Term 3rd General Assembly Meeting in Istanbul. At the meeting, the union expressed the problems of press workers and their demands to strengthen their rights.
The meeting, held between August 27-29 under the chairmanship of BİK General Director Cavit Erkılınç, brought together important representatives of the press sector. Medya-İş Union was effectively represented at the meeting with Deputy General President Sefa Özdemir taking part as the "Representative of Advertisement Producers".
At the General Assembly, BİK's activities were evaluated, while the problems faced by press workers and the proposed solutions to these problems were discussed in detail. The Medya-İş delegation shared the views and suggestions of the union and discussed their demands for improving the rights of press workers and strengthening their working conditions.
