ANKARA - The 5th Term Collective Labor Agreement (TİS) between Koop-İş Union and the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations (SYDV) of the Ministry of Family and Social Services was signed at a ceremony at TÜHİS. Agreement Reached After Historic Strike

As it will be remembered, members of SYDV employees went on strike simultaneously in 1003 workplaces across the country after not being paid their salaries and other receivables for 3 months. This struggle, which succeeded with the participation of more than 95 percent of the members, became a symbol of a resistance that has been unprecedented for many years, carried out simultaneously in dispersed workplaces in the public sector. The 4-day strike, which started on Friday, August 29, 2025, ended with the agreement reached. With the collective labor agreement signed today, the just demands of the SYDV employee members were officially registered.
