Koop-Is Union Signs First Term Collective Labor Agreement with Trabzon University

ANKARA - Koop-İş Union has taken a historic step on behalf of its members working at Trabzon University and signed the first term collective labor agreement. The agreement between the union and the university became official at a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers' Union (TÜHİS).

Wide Signing Ceremony

Secretary General Metin Güney and Deputy Secretary General Aytuğ Balaman attended the signing ceremony on behalf of Koop-İş Union. Deputy General Secretary Şerefettin Güler was present on behalf of TÜHİS.

The ceremony was also attended by Trabzon Branch Organization Secretary Pulat Cemil Sonkaya, Koop-İş CBA Experts Sezgin Bilgin and Nergis Özmen and Workplace Representatives Zeki Altunay and Fatma Çolakoğlu. On the TÜHİS side, Chief Expert Ahmet Karaderili and Expert Esra Yenidünya took part.

Koop-İş Union wished that the signed collective labor agreement would be beneficial for all parties, especially the members working at Trabzon University. This agreement will provide significant improvements in the social and economic rights of university employees.
