Historic Collective Bargaining Success from Türk Kültür Sanat-Sen: We Said "We Are Present at the Table" for Culture and Art Workers

Turkish Culture and Arts Union is proud to have achieved the long-awaited historical gains for the employees of the culture and arts service branch in the 8th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations. At the table, where the union sat as the authorized union for the first time, the union reaped the fruits of its intensive efforts to meet the expectations of public servants in the service branch.

General President Uğur Yıldırım, in his statement evaluating the gains, stated that this success was achieved not only by the union management but also by the devoted work of every level of the organization. Yıldırım said, "Day and night, our executives, representatives and members at every level of our organization mobilized with great devotion. Aware of the responsibility of being authorized for the first time, we managed to be the strongest and most different voice at the table."

"We Achieved Real Gains at the Table, Not Phony Gains"

President Yıldırım emphasized that the gains achieved directly touch all public servants working in the culture and arts service branch and that these gains are not "fake" but concrete and tangible improvements. The union's decisive stance at the table and the concrete demands it presented were appreciated by all stakeholders at the table. Yıldırım thanked all stakeholders who added meaning to the table with their efforts to solve problems.

Next Goal: New Gains and Continuous Struggle

Mentioning their future goals in his statement, Yıldırım stated that they see this success as a starting point. "With the power we received from you, we left our mark on the table as the most effective and most different service branch union at the table. We will continue our struggle both at the table and in the field with the same determination to achieve new gains, solve the problems of our public servants and meet their expectations in the following process."
