On October 19, 2025, HAK-İŞ Confederation took part in the Support for Palestine Platform meeting attended by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. Represented by Deputy Secretary General Hamdi Abdullah Koçoğlu, HAK-İŞ discussed the issues of strengthening solidarity with the Palestinian people and raising international awareness.
ANKARA - HAK-İŞ Confederation participated in a critical meeting organized to strengthen solidarity with the Palestinian people and raise international awareness. On October 19, 2025, at the Palestine Support Platform meeting held with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, the current situation in Palestine and the steps that can be taken were discussed.
Deputy Secretary General Hamdi Abdullah Koçoğlu, representing the Confederation, attended the meeting and exchanged views on humanitarian aid for the Palestinian people, diplomatic support mechanisms and mobilization of global public opinion.
Strengthening Solidarity: Concrete steps to be taken to protect the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and to further strengthen solidarity with them were discussed.
International Awareness: The issues of voicing Israel's practices against Palestine more loudly on international platforms and drawing the attention of the global public opinion to the Palestinian cause were discussed.
HAK-İŞ Confederation, with its participation in the meeting, has once again registered its support for the struggle for the rights of workers and people in Palestine, both in humanitarian and trade union terms. The Confederation stated that it will follow the decisions of the meeting and will continue to stand by the Palestinian people.
