Turkish World Academy from GENÇ MEMUR-SEN Starts: Journey to Our Geography of Heart in Cooperation with TIKA and YTB

ANKARA - Young Memur-Sen is launching the Turkish World Academy, which aims to deepen young people's awareness of history and culture and sets out with the theme of "Journey to Our Heart Geography". The academy, prepared in cooperation with TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) and YTB (Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities), aims to inform young people between the ages of 18-35 about the past, present and future projections of the Turkic World.

With this program, which was implemented after the previous Jerusalem, Balkans and Family-themed academies, the cultural, economic, political and security dimensions of the Turkic World will be discussed online by experts in their fields.

Program Will Be Online on Monday and Thursday Evenings

The trainings will be broadcast live on Genç Memur-Sen YouTube channel in two sessions on Mondays and Thursdays between 21.00-22.30. The application period for the Turkic World Academy will end on October 25.

The academy's speaker staff consists of important names who will cover a wide range of topics from the geopolitical importance of the Turkic World to its relations with Turkey:

• Abdulhadi Turus (President of YTB): YTB's Diaspora Activities in the Turkic World

• Abdullah Eren (President of TIKA): The Role of TIKA in the Development of the Turkic World

• Dr. Ufuk Ulutaş and Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün (Ambassadors): Turkey's Relations with Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan

• Academics: Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yüce, Prof. Dr. Fırat Purtaş, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Halil Üçer and Dr. Kenan Aslanlı will discuss geopolitics, security, culture and international economic integration.

Cultural Journey to the Turkic World for Winners

At the end of the program, those who attend all of the courses will be entitled to participate in the Turkish World Academy lottery. Those who complete 80% of the trainings will receive a certificate. Most importantly, as in the previous academies, 10 young people will have the opportunity to go on an unforgettable cultural journey in the Turkic World states.
