Koop-İş Union signed the 7th term collective labor agreement with the General Directorate of Security. The agreement includes significant improvements in the financial and social rights of union members working in the Police.
ANKARA - The 7th term collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between the Koop-İş Union and the Turkish National Police was signed with a ceremony at the headquarters of the Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers' Union (TÜHİS). This contract envisages improvements in the financial and social rights of workers in the General Directorate of Security.
The contract negotiations and signing ceremony took place with the participation of the General Directorate of Security and TÜHİS officials and the union delegation. Metin Güney, General Secretary of Koop-İş Union and Aytuğ Balaman, Deputy General Secretary, as well as Yücel Yıldırım, President of Ankara Branch No. 1 and CBA Experts attended the meeting. Hüseyin Tekin, Acting Deputy Head of the Personnel Department of the General Directorate of Security, and TÜHİS Deputy General Secretaries Hasan Yılmaz and Şerefettin Güler were present to represent the employer side.
The signed contract was wished to be beneficial for all parties. Koop-İş Union stated that the contract will protect the rights and interests of its members and contribute to peace in the workplace.
