Birleşik Metal-İş General President Özkan Atar, General Secretary Ali Çeltek and General Education Secretary Özcan Atmaca visited Remas Redüktör and Sanel Auto Electronic workplaces ahead of the MESS Group CBA process.
ISTANBUL - United Metal-İş Union continues its visits to the workplaces within the scope of MESS by its central and branch executives ahead of the upcoming negotiations for the Group Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) of the Turkish Metal Industrialists' Union (MESS). With these visits, the union management meets with its members and exchanges information and opinions about the CBA process.
The union's General President Özkan Atar, General Secretary Ali Çeltek and General Education Secretary Özcan Atmaca, together with the executives of Istanbul Branch No. 1, visited two important workplaces in succession.
The delegation first visited Remas Reducer and Machinery Industry and met with its members. Afterwards, we went to the Sanel Auto Electronic workplace and met with the members there as well.
Attaching to the members during the visits, General President Özkan Atar emphasized the importance of the upcoming MESS Group CBA period. Atar stated that they should be prepared for any difficulties that may arise during this CBA process.
General President Atar stated that the metal workers will come out of this struggle with unity, resistance, historical accumulation and experience. In his meeting with Sanel workers in particular, the President underlined that all of them together will do their part to get the right of labor.
Sanel workers clearly demonstrated their determination to fight for the CBA process with the slogans they chanted in response to the General President's message.
The union stated that it will continue its visits and meetings with its members throughout the MESS Group CBA process and will continue to show the power of organized struggle in the field.
