Memur-Sen announced that the proposals of the Agriculture and Forestry and Energy, Industry and Mining service branches will be negotiated today within the scope of the 8th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations.
ANKARA - Negotiations for the 8th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine the financial and social rights of public employees for the years 2026-2027, continue at an intense pace at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. As part of this process, the Confederation of Civil Servants announced that today it will negotiate the proposals of the Agriculture and Forestry Services and Energy, Industry and Mining Services branches.
Intense tempo for all service branches
Representatives of Toç Bir-Sen and Enerji-Bir-Sen, unions affiliated to the Union of Civil Servants, are bringing the expectations and demands of civil servants in their respective service branches to the table. In these critical meetings, the improvement of the personal rights of civil servants working in the agriculture, forestry, energy, industry and mining sectors, additional payments, working conditions and other social rights will be discussed. The unions are expected to present concrete proposals to improve the purchasing power of their members in the current economic conditions and high inflationary pressure.
HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR NEGOTIATIONS
These negotiations with the public employer delegation are seen as one of the most important stages that will shape the final version of the contract. As in all service branches, Memur-Sen states that it is taking a determined stance to achieve the best results in the Agriculture and Energy service branches. According to the announcement made by the union on its social media accounts, the results of the negotiations and the developments in the process will be shared with the public. While public employees are eagerly awaiting the results of these negotiations, it is closely followed how the authorities will respond to the demands.
