8th Term Collective Agreement Demands for Managers: Abolish Interview

The 8th Term Collective Bargaining Negotiations started on July 28, 2025 to determine the salary increases and social and personal rights of public servants and pensioners for the years 2026-2027.

Turk Eğitim-Sen, after months of preparations, brought the demands and expectations of public employees to the collective bargaining table. The confederation stated that they put their hands under the stone for the process to proceed in the most efficient way.

In the statement made by the union, it was emphasized that success in the collective negotiations will be possible with the realistic approach and determination of the "Public Employer" side. Türk Eğitim-Sen stated that they will reflect their 33 years of knowledge and experience to this process in the best way possible.

Turkish Education and Science Union underlined the need for merit and justice to be the basis of executive appointments during the collective bargaining process. The union demands a fair system in which only the written exam is taken as a basis and the interview is completely abolished, instead of the current system that leads to torpil and usurpation of rights.
