Gümüşhane - Sağlık-Sen Gümüşhane Branch, one of the leading unions defending the rights of health and social service workers, held its 6th Ordinary General Assembly on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Addressing the delegation at the General Assembly, Sağlık-Sen Vice President İdris Baykan stated that the union continues on its way with the motto of "service and values unionism". Baykan said, "We have made it our mission to present a union model based on principles and values. Increasing fixed additional payments and on-call wages are among our priority demands. We will continue our struggle for the payment of night work compensation until the end. We will take all the issues we have voiced so far, such as incentive additional payments, increasing base payments, to the table and we will fight for their realization."
