3rd Term Collective Labor Agreement Signed Between Koop-İş Union and KOSGEB

ANKARA - Koop-İş Union has achieved a significant success by signing the 3rd Term Collective Labor Agreement (CBA) with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) concerning the union members. With the signing ceremony held at the headquarters of the Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers' Union (TÜHİS), new regulations will be implemented in the financial and social rights of KOSGEB employees.

High Attendance Signing Ceremony

The ceremony for the signing of the contract was attended by Metin Güney, General Secretary of Koop-İş Union and Talat Yılmaz, Secretary of Ankara Branch No. 1, as well as CBA Experts Sezgin Bilgin and Nergis Özmen, and Chief Workplace Representative Hakan Kaya. KOSGEB Human Resources Department Head Hakan Ertürk and Accrual and Personnel Affairs Manager Mehmet Nazım Tuhan represented the employer side.

On behalf of TUHIS, Deputy Secretary General Şerefettin Güler, Senior Chief Specialist Fatma Taşkın, Specialist Osman Adıgüzel and Assistant Specialist T. Eymen Özben were present at the ceremony.

Good New Term

In the statements made after the signing ceremony, it was wished that the contract would be beneficial for all parties, especially the union members working at KOSGEB. Koop-İş Union stated that with the new collective bargaining agreement, it aims to contribute to ensuring justice and peace in working life by further advancing the rights and interests of its members. This signed agreement is considered as an important indicator of union struggle and compromise.
