Here are the details of current developments:
In the executive and administrative section of the Official Gazette, important amendments were made in the field of education. Amendments to the education and examination regulations of three faculties of Selçuk University have introduced regulations that will directly affect students and academic processes:
Selçuk University Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory Education and Examination Regulation Amendment: With this amendment, students who have three courses remaining for graduation are entitled to take a "three-course exam" within one month after the make-up exams. In these exams, midterm exams will not be required and students who get at least CC will be considered successful. In addition, amendments were made to the articles on graduation dates and the status of students who overflowed into the academic year.
Selçuk University Faculty of Law Education and Examination Regulations Amendment: The amendments to the Faculty of Law's regulations update the definitions of "semester of education," "elective course," and "compulsory course," and set minimum course weeks for the academic year and each semester. The Regulation also includes important updates to the structure of the education program, the principles for taking elective courses, and the conditions for three course exams and make-up exams.
Selçuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Education and Examination Regulation Amendment: Similarly, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has granted students who have three courses remaining for graduation the right to take a "three-course exam" and rearranged the conditions regarding graduation dates.
These changes are steps to help universities support student success and make academic processes more flexible.
