New Regulations in the Official Gazette: Comprehensive Agenda from Foreign Employees to Tender Announcements

Ankara - The Official Gazette, the official publication of the Republic of Turkey, published important decisions, regulations and communiqués in its issue dated July 23, 2025. From unauthorized work of foreigners to stock market activities, from import regulations to economic indicators, the new regulations drew attention.

Executive and Administrative Department: New Regulations in Force

Three new regulations stand out in the Executive and Administrative Section of today's Official Gazette:

• Regulation on Unauthorized Foreigners: The "Regulation on the Collection of Various Expenses of Foreigners who have been ordered deported for working without authorization" entered into force. This new regulation will ensure that the travel, accommodation, health and similar expenses of foreigners who work in Turkey without authorization and are subject to deportation orders will be collected from the employers who employ them without authorization. This step is considered as an important regulation in the fight against unregistered employment and the protection of the rights of foreign workers.

• Borsa Istanbul Regulation Amendments: Two amendments were made to two regulations regarding Borsa Istanbul A.Ş., one of the important players in the capital markets. The "Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Principles Regarding Borsa Istanbul A.Ş. Exchange Activities" and the "Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Principles of Establishment, Activities, Operation and Audit of Exchanges and Market Operators" were published. It is stated that these changes are aimed at more effective supervision of stock exchange activities and regulation of market functioning according to current needs.

Communiqués and Trade Policies

An important announcement concerning international trade policies was published in the Communiqué Section of the Official Gazette:

• Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports: The "Communiqué on Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports (No: 2025/19)" was published. This communiqué contains details on measures such as additional taxes or restrictions to prevent unfair competition in certain products imported into Turkey. Such communiqués are of great importance in terms of protecting domestic producers and ensuring a fair trade environment.

Economics and Public Announcements

In the Announcements Section, as usual, announcements related to public and economic activities:
