August 9, 2025 Dated Official Gazette Published: Important Decisions, New Regulations and Communiqués

ANKARA - The Official Gazette, the official organ of the Republic of Turkey, met its readers with its issue dated August 9, 2025 and numbered 32981. This issue, which consists of various sections including the Executive and Administrative Section, Regulations, Communiqués and Announcements, included important decisions that closely concern the public. In particular, new regulations on nuclear energy and nature protection and a new communiqué on taxation attracted attention.

Three Important Regulations from the Executive and Administrative Department

New regulations in three different areas were published in the Executive and Administrative Section of today's Official Gazette.

• Regulation on On-site Direct Current Power Supplies in Nuclear Power Plants: This regulation sets standards for the on-site installation, operation and supervision of direct current power supplies, which are vital for the safe and uninterrupted operation of nuclear power plants. Given the increasing investments in nuclear energy and safety concerns, this regulation aims to ensure more reliable operation of the plants.

• Regulation on Disciplinary Supervisors of the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks: This regulation, which regulates the disciplinary procedures of the personnel of the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, will contribute to more transparent and fair internal functioning.

• Izmir Tınaztepe University Language and Speech Disorders Application and Research Center Regulation: This regulation, published in the academic field, outlines the framework of research and applications to be carried out in the field of language and speech disorders within Izmir Tınaztepe University. This center will contribute to training experts in this field and providing services to the society.

New Communiqué on Tax Regulation

Another important development published in the Official Gazette today was the General Communiqué Serial No. 87 on the Real Estate Tax Law. With this communiqué, new regulations and practices concerning real estate taxpayers were announced to the public. Taxpayers should carefully review the provisions of the communiqué.

In the Announcements Section of the Official Gazette, in addition to the Judicial, Auction, Bidding and Tender announcements as usual, the exchange rates determined by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and the daily values of the Government Domestic Debt Securities were included.
