UNDP Turkey, with the financial support of the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, organized a "Grant Component Fair and Information Meeting" to share the successes and experiences of grant projects within the scope of the Strengthening Climate Change Adaptation Action in Turkey Project Grant Scheme.
This important event, which took place on 25 September in Ankara, brought together grant beneficiaries to share knowledge and experience. The focal point of the meeting was a panel discussion on lessons learned from the implementation of the grant projects.

Representatives of 28 grant projects supported under the program took part in the fair and information meeting. Participants had the opportunity to share their activities, the challenges they faced and the learnings they gained in the process. This sharing environment allowed to learn about other projects and to develop potential collaborations.
The main objective of the Grant Scheme is to strengthen adaptation to climate change in Turkey. To this end, the program provides support to various institutions and organizations in Turkey and the EU. Targeted stakeholders include municipalities, regional and provincial directorates, regional development agencies, universities, research institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), chambers and unions.
This event, with the support and participation of the T.R. Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, once again demonstrated Turkey's commitment to increase its capacity to combat and adapt to climate change.
