Turkish National Team Dominates Greece to Secure a Historic Spot in the EuroBasket 2025 Final

ANKARA – The Turkish Men's National Basketball Team, known as the "12 Giant Men," has advanced to the final of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 after a decisive victory over Greece in the semifinals. In the game played in Riga, Latvia, the Turkish team dominated from start to finish.

The star of the match was Ercan Osmani, whose performance in the first quarter was particularly impressive. Osmani scored 14 points in the first period alone, helping his team secure a 26-16 lead. The Turkish side went into halftime with a comfortable 49-31 advantage.

In the second half, with Cedi Osman and Alperen Sengun taking control, the lead extended to more than 20 points. Turkey gave its opponent no chance for a comeback in the final quarter, clinching the win with a career-high 28 points from Osmani. With this victory, the "12 Giant Men" remain undefeated in the tournament.

Turkey will now face Germany in the final. Germany had previously secured its spot by defeating Finland 98-86 in the other semifinal.
