The Grant Component Fair and Information Meeting was held under the Enhancing Adaptation Action in Turkey Project Grant Programme, which is implemented with the financial support of UNDP Turkey, the European Union, and the Republic of Türkiye. The event provided a platform for grant projects to share their successes and experiences.
This significant event, held in Ankara on September 25, brought together grant programme beneficiaries to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience. The meeting focused on a panel session that discussed the lessons learned from the implementation process of the grant projects.

Representatives from 28 grant projects supported under the programme attended the fair and information meeting. Participants had the opportunity to present their activities, the challenges they faced, and the lessons they learned throughout the process. This collaborative environment helped attendees learn about other projects and fostered potential collaborations.
The core objective of the Grant Programme is to strengthen adaptation to climate change in Türkiye. To this end, the programme provides support to various institutions and organizations in both Türkiye and the EU. Targeted stakeholders include municipalities, regional and provincial directorates, regional development agencies, universities, research institutions, civil society organizations (CSOs), chambers, and unions.
This event, supported by the participation of the T.R. Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, once again highlighted Türkiye's commitment to increasing its capacity for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
