With the cooperation protocol signed between TESK and Kuveyt Türk, low POS commissions, favorable financing and free banking services will be offered to approximately 2.5 million tradesmen and craftsmen. TESK President Palandöken and Kuveyt Türk Deputy General Manager Delipoyraz stated that the agreement is a comprehensive support package for tradesmen.
Ankara - The Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) and Kuveyt Türk Participation Bank signed an important cooperation protocol for tradesmen and craftsmen. With this agreement, it is aimed to meet the financial needs of approximately 2 and a half million tradesmen and craftsmen across Turkey and to facilitate their business processes. It was stated that the supports to be provided within the scope of the protocol will directly contribute to the daily operations of the artisan community.
TESK President Bendevi Palandöken stated in his speech at the signing ceremony that they have signed a meaningful cooperation that will ease the financial burden of tradesmen and craftsmen. Palandöken said, "With this support package specially prepared for our tradesmen, solutions that will directly contribute to daily operations such as low POS commission rates, vehicle financing under favorable conditions, installment opportunities in commercial credit cards and invoice support are offered. At the same time, banking services such as free EFT/transfer transactions, checkbook and HGS are also offered to our tradesmen without any costs within the scope of the campaign."
President Palandöken also emphasized that the financial burden of the tradesmen was eased with additional benefits such as a special cash refund for the first expenditure and said, "I wish this meaningful cooperation to be beneficial to our tradesmen and craftsmen community and I thank everyone who contributed." This cooperation is expected to increase the competitiveness of artisans and facilitate their adaptation to economic conditions.
Abdurrahman Delipoyraz, Deputy General Manager in charge of SME Banking at Kuwait Turk, commented on the cooperation. Delipoyraz stated that tradesmen are not just a customer group, but valuable stakeholders that form the backbone of the economy. "Our tradesmen, who are the carriers of production, employment and local economies, are not just a customer group for us; they are valuable stakeholders that form the backbone of our economy," said Delipoyraz, adding that they prioritize establishing a long-term and sustainable relationship with tradesmen in line with the principles of participation finance.
Delipoyraz noted that with this cooperation with TESK, they aim to make the financing and banking solutions they offer to tradesmen more accessible to a wider segment. He emphasized that offering different banking products such as EFT at the same time and from a single platform in addition to POS and card solutions, which are the primary needs of tradesmen, is a holistic approach that facilitates the daily operations of tradesmen. He added that thanks to cost-effective and secure solutions such as "Cebim POS", which makes it possible to receive payments only via smartphones without the need for any additional device, tradesmen and SMEs serving in the field are supported to carry out their business uninterruptedly from anywhere.
This cooperation protocol is expected to increase the financial access of tradesmen and craftsmen, accelerate their adaptation to digitalization processes, and thus further strengthen the contribution of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to the national economy.
