ANKARA - The National Men's Basketball Team played a historic game against Germany in the final of the 2025 European Championship. In a very competitive match from start to finish, the national team was defeated 88-83 and finished the tournament with a silver medal.
Keeping the balance in the game for most of the match, the 12 Giant Men gave the fans exciting moments with their resilience, especially in the third period. In the last period, the national team made great efforts to close the gap, but could not gain the upper hand and had to settle for second place in Europe.
Turkey managed to attract attention with its ambition, struggle and team spirit throughout the tournament. The National Team won the admiration of basketball fans in every game they played and made the whole country proud by achieving the second place in Europe.
